I simply can't thank Mr Kalairajah enough. When I went to see him with hip pain at 44, I never thought I would be looking at a new hip, at this age.
I was in an extreme amount of pain and the normal things like walking, sleeping and getting in and out of the shower were becoming harder and more painful.
From my first appointment through to actually having the hip surgery, everything was structured and I always trusted all the feedback.
I am now 7 weeks after my surgery and everything is going well. Every single bit of joint pain, from the hip, has gone which even means I get a full nights sleep now.
As I put in my first sentence, I can't thank Mr Kalairajah enough and would recommend him to anyone.
I am so pleased that I was referred to Mr kalairagha at the spire hospital. When I first met him about my painful hip he was very friendly and professional. He explained everything very thoroughly and answered all my concerns. He recommended that I needed a total hip replacement which he and his team done with so much care and skill that I am now back to normal day to day living without any problems! I could never thank this gentleman enough for what his skill has done for me and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs orthopaedic surgery! Thank you once again Mr Kalairagha
on the 2nd Feb 2021 I had a new Knee op, that was done by Mr Y Kalairajah at Spire Harpendon, before the op people were saying it would be a very painful op, but I found the experience very unpainful Dr Kalairajah is a very nice man and very caring he said before my op that would not like him for three months. but he has made my leg very straight I have hardly any pain, Iam so pleased at 82 years old I think he has given me

Dr Kalairajah has a polite and efficient manner. He listened to my concerns and put my mind at rest regards my concerns about the required surgery.
On 24 March 2012 I began my recovery after Mr Kalairajah performed a total right hip replacement for me. On 5 May 2012 I cycled almost 70 miles, without discomfort. From that time to the end of 2020 I have continued to walk and cycle, with no issues at all with my right hip. In fact, from the time of the hip replacement to the end of 2020 I have cycled a total of over 40,000 miles, including several amateur stages in the Tour de France. Mr Kalairajah gave me back my ability to participate in fairly extreme sporting activity and I am extremely grateful to him. I am now approaching the time when my left hip will require replacing and I am hopeful for a repeat performance so that I can continue my sporting activities well into my 70s.
